Causes of cylinder deformation
1. Excessive production will aggravate the wear and tear of the kiln barrel material and easily cause overheating deformation of the barrel
2. The heat flow is too large, the cooling belt is very short or even no, the working environment of the kiln is bad, the temperature of the clinker out of the kiln is 1300-1400℃, and the secondary air temperature is 1000-2000℃
3. The temperature of the tube is too high, the thermal expansion is large, and the strength of the high-temperature resistant material is seriously attenuated
4. The bolts of the kiln guard plate are loose, which leads to the falling off of the refractory material and the cylinder is burned.
5. Improper disposal of contaminated soil will cause severe corrosion to the cylinder, and the kiln will be burned down in serious cases.
6. The corrosion of sulfur, phosphorus and chlorine on the kiln barrel will not only make the kiln barrel thinner and reduce its strength, but also reduce the shape of steel and increase the brittleness of steel, which may lead to the brittle failure of the kiln barrel

Cylinder processing technology
The cylinder body of rotary kiln is rolled by steel plate made of boiler plate, Q235C plate and other materials. The dimensional accuracy and shape and position tolerance requirements are high, and the processing quality directly affects the strength and sealing of components.

For transportation reasons, rotary kilns are composed of multiple cylinders. Because the outer circle of the cylinder is not processed, the perpendicularity of the end face to the center of rotation cannot be measured directly. In the process design, the perpendicularity of the end face is transformed into parallelism and the requirements of the axis coincidence at both ends according to the structural form of the cylinder.
